15th Feb 2003

Unforgettable day in my life... Was in the final year of my college. Counting the days to become an engineer. Waiting to become a Butterfly after thise catterpillar years of schooling & college...

Someone of our group ( Machaans I forgot who it was da!! ) came up with the brilliant idea that we should print a T-Shirt with our group photo printed on the Tee... We called ( still call) oureslves as Adonises - a complete misnomer I must admit. (Pasangala If you think otherwise do let me know, I will post your pic on the blog & let the world vote for the World Idol )... Enough of the name & the history. All were up for the idea & on 15th Feb 2003 we all walked to the IAB cneter in Avinashi road all dressed up like umpires for the IND-AUS match that took place on the same day. Me & suj were on a high after winning an impossible quiz contest in the final round ( Rapid fire was our secret.. )

There we were at the photo studio all dressed in white shirts & black pants except for our own "Hrithik" 'Late' Hari.. He came in a peach coloured Shirt!!!! The photographer said that we needed to wait for some time as there was some other customer befoe us. We didn't mind the wait as we always had one thing in lots - TIME. ( Reg Money we did not have it much ) There was a pool table.. We started playing. The table cried & I mean it. We were used to play Koli kundus & not snooker.

Finally it was time for the pic. All of us posed for the pics. They took some 4-5 pics & we selected one of them & made ONE copy only( Srini U lucky dog!!) . Others used the soft copy & decided that we'd photoshop it & the print a copy of it. We did the photoshop part but not the Printing part of it.

Some months back Ram mailed us that we need to do somethin like that again.. I wish that we do thatIf we do that we have to print !!!

Been 3 yrs from that day . Time flies almost like a blur..

Tickle Tickle

It was sometime around october 2003 ( could be a month earlier too... Date doesn't matter) it was close to midnight ..... Bang!!! A skull was knocked on to the hard and cheap mosaic floor by a guy in lungi who used to say back them in Saamy style " Naan Professional illa Porukki" For the benifit of the folks who don't know tamil it means " I'm not a professional. I'm a rouge". The Skull was not alone it had a torso attached to it & the torso had limbs. Some noteable attachments to the skull was hair, eyes , ears & all features that defined a face. It contained an invaluable piece of treasure inside it. I knew the skull from my child hood, infact I had grown with it. As a matter of fact it was MY SKULL... & I'm not even dead. I was totally knocked out by that hard knock from a 'Friend' I had a Golf ball in my head. My lucky stars Tiger woods was out in the woods hunting tigers ( Not tiger the animal but the tiger the fruit. Puli rather. )

My crime - To see my friend happy.

Theses are the things that happened before the knockout was delivered. We were sitting on the floor and talking about world econmics & the role of India as a superpower in the next 5 years. OK thats so far fetching I presume. Well were not talkin about that but were talikng about the gals we saw when we went for dinner (I'm a honest person still) . My friend was in a gloomy mood so i wanted him to cheer up. I belive in humor in its various forms Visual, auditory etc etc. But with this guy physical humor worked out well.

Just my index finger was enough to set him ROFL. I mean it he rolled over the floor and started laughing. I felt an immense feel of happiness inside me. Trust me folks if you want to be happy to the entire sense of the word try making others happy. I wanted my friend to feel ecstasic. Then I started to play my fingers like an adept guitar player (I don't play any instrument other than a bike horn). He was dancing in the poise of a Michael Jackson. It was all musical & really classical. Well single handley ( rather single fingerly) the concert went for about 3 hours. The final ending was a big BANG. ( Mudhaal patthi paarka - See first para)

Lesson learnt: To get your senses knocked over tickle your friend for 3 hours !
